Free Estate Planning Pop-Up Clinic Coming to Barre

The Vermont Judiciary’s Direct Legal Services Committee and Vermont Law and Graduate School’s South Royalton Legal Clinic will host a free Estate Planning Pop-Up Clinic on Saturday, September 19, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Community National Bank, 316 Main Street in Barre.

The clinic will feature a presentation on estate planning and the importance of planning ahead, including information about simple wills, powers of attorney, advance directives, and other estate planning tools. Following the presentation, participants will have an opportunity to meet with licensed volunteer attorneys to discuss their individual needs. Qualifying participants may also work with volunteer attorneys and Vermont Law and Graduate School students to draft and execute estate planning documents that same day.
